No company can go to the market and claim that it is a corona drug. The government permits companies for any new vaccine or medicine. Only then can that company make that medicine. No company can go to the market and claim that it is a corona drug.

The Ministry has told the Patanjali Group that until the claim is tested, it should not disseminate the drug, along with a copy of the approval of the product has been sought from the concerned licensing authority of the Uttarakhand government. 50 Rupees Tax on Petrol of 22 Rupees, Crude Oil $ 35 But Petrol-Diesel Most Expensive in 19 Month, Why?

Crude oil prices have come down significantly in the global market. At this time, the price of Indian basket crude has come close to $ 35 per barrel, but the prices of petrol and diesel are not decreasing in the country. Tax is a big reason behind this. The taxes the central and state governments impose are much higher than the actual price of petrol and diesel.

Highlights

  • You do not get the benefit of the fall in the price of crude oil because more than half of the share of tax in the price
  • When you buy petrol at the rate of about 76.73 litres, you do not pay all the money to petrol companies.
  • While the actual price of petrol is Rs 22.11 per litre, the price of diesel is Rs 22.93 per litre.
  • In the international market, the price of Indian basket crude is around $ 35, while the price of diesel-petrol is at a 19-month high.
The impact of coronaviruses on the world economy is causing crude oil prices to fall again. The price of Indian basket crude has come close to $ 35 per barrel. Even then, where you are getting petrol in the domestic market at a price of Rs 76.73 per litre, then diesel 75.19 per litre. This is the highest level in 19 months. Earlier on 18 November 2018, the price of petrol was Rs 76.71 while on 17 November 2018, the price of diesel was Rs 75.16.

Now the question arises that when the price of crude oil has decreased in the worldwide market. why are we getting petrol and diesel so expensive?

85% Crude Oil Comes From Outside
The demand for petroleum products in India may have increased rapidly, but production is not enough. In such a situation, we have to import about 85 percent of our crude oil. Obviously, if it was expensive in the foreign market, then petrol and diesel would be expensive in the domestic market and crude oil would be cheaper and petroleum product would be cheaper. But it does not look like this right now. Let us explain what is included in the price of one litre of petrol.

Government's Big Hand in Oil Game
The last time the prices of crude oil were falling sharply between 2014 and 2016, the government continued to increase its income in the form of excise duty instead of giving the benefit to the common people. Between November 2014 and January 2016, the central government increased excise duty 9 times and granted relief only once. By doing this, between 2014-15 and 2018-19, the central government earned Rs 10 lakh crore through tax on oil. At the same time, state governments also did not miss washing hands in this flowing Ganges. VAT on petrol and diesel made them rich. In the year 2014-15, where VAT received Rs 1.3 lakh crore, it increased to Rs 1.8 lakh crore in 2017-18. This time when the prices started to decrease due to coronavirus, the central government increased the tax on it. The state governments also followed this path and they also increased VAT.

Tax of Rs. 50 on Petrol of Rs. 22/ litres
When you buy petrol at more than Rs 76 a litre, you do not pay all the money to petrol companies. More than half of this money goes to the Centre and the state in the form of tax. According to information received from Indian Oil, the country's largest oil marketing company, at present, the price of one litre petrol in Delhi is ex-factory price or base price of Rs 22.11. This includes Rs 32.98 as central government excise duty, 33 paisa on freight, dealer commission of 3.60 paisa and state government VAT of Rs 17.71. The state government also levies VAT dealer commission. Overall, the price of petrol becomes Rs 76.73.

Price of one Litre petrol including tax in Delhi on 16 June 2020
Ex Factory Price₹ 22.11
Freight and Other Expenses₹ 0.33
Excise Duty₹ 32.98
Dealer's Commission₹ 3.60
VAT (with Dealer's Commission)₹ 17.71

No Less Tax on Diesel Too
The government is also not behind in collecting tax on diesel. The ex-factory price or base price of one litre diesel in Delhi is Rs 22.93. It costs 30 paisa per litre. The excise duty of the central government is Rs 31.83, the dealer commission is Rs 2.53 and the state government's VAT is Rs 17.60. In this way its price becomes Rs 75.19.

On Thursday, there was news that Amazon may invest in Airtel with a huge investment of $ 2 billion, ie 15000 crores. Today Jio got the sixth investor. This time Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Investment Company has invested Rs 9,093.60 crore in Jio Platforms for 1.85% equity.

Great Performance of Airtel Stock
According to the report published in Bloomberg, if you look at the stock of Indian Airtel, then its performance this year has been excellent. Its stock has gained about 26 per cent in the last one year and reached an all-time high on 19 May. In such a situation, looking at the future growth of the company, the line of investors can also be seen here in the coming days.

AGR Outstanding Big Challenge
AGR dues are still a big challenge for Airtel. According to the court order, she was owed 35 thousand crores, out of which she has deposited 10 thousand crores. The good thing with Reliance Jio is that it does not have to pay any such dues.

Airtel was Once Number One
Airtel was once the number one telecom company in the country. But after the entry of Reliance Jio in 2016, the company's condition started deteriorating. Jio started offering 4G network and free calling facility to the customers. This had a bad impact on other telecom companies. Recently, Bharti Mittal had clearly said about AGR dues that if the government does not get help, then they should stop the operation.

Focus on Digital Economy
Mukesh Ambani has shifted the focus of Reliance Industries business to digital economy with the help of Jio Platforms. With Facebook and Jio Mart, they are moving fast in e-commerce. Airtel is also moving in this direction and Amazon's potential investment is a step in this direction.

MSME sector will become champion with the help of CHAMPIONS !

The Modi government is working very fast towards strengthening the MSMEs sector. Today, Prime Minister Modi launched the CHAMPIONS portal for this sector. The Champions Portal is considered a one stop solution for MSMEs.

Highlights

  • Champion's portal launched to strengthen MSME sector.
  • If you complain to CPGrams, then it will be seen directly on the Champions Portal.
  • Champion's portal equipped with artificial intelligence, data analytics and machine learning.

Mahatma Gandhi said that India's development is from his village and small industry. The government also knows very well that it is not possible to improve the country's economy without strengthening the MSME sector. It is a sector whose contribution to the country's GDP is about 30 per cent, 45 per cent in exports and employs 11-12 crore people. If people get employment, demand will remain. To strengthen this sector, Prime Minister Modi today gave a platform of technology CHAMPIONS (Creation and Harmonious Application of Modern Process for Increasing the Output and National Strength).

One Stop Solution
MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari was also present with him on this occasion. This portal, like its name, will help small scale units of MSMEs to champion them in every way. Champions Portal is considered as one stop solution of MSME.

Immediate Action on Complaint
The champions have not achieved this position just like that. Champions is the first portal in the country that has been linked to the Centralized Public Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System, the main centralized public grievance redressal and monitoring system of the Government of India. That is, if someone complains on CPGrams, then it will come directly on the champions portal. Earlier these complaints were sent to the ministries which were copied on the ministry's system. This should speed up the system of handling complaints.

Trial started by making CHAMPIONS in 9 days
The first example to make disaster an opportunity is the control room of this portal. This control room is built in an office room that was previously a warehouse. In less than two days, the warehouse was transformed and converted into a control room. For this, the employees of the ministry, IT team and laborers worked continuously for 38 hours i.e. in the room where no office worker had even visited till now, the problem of MSME units across the country will be solved. Trial has also been started by making this system in 9 days.

All kinds of Problems will be Overcome
The grievances of many problems in the sector will be redressed through the Champions Portal. Problems such as lack of capital, shortage of manpower and necessary permissions will be dealt with during the corona. Along with this, new opportunities such as making PPE kits, making masks and supplying it to national international markets will be helped. Along with this, this portal will help them by identifying those units which can come out of such asymmetrical conditions today and become champions at the international level.

Officers will Decide in 3 Days
The success of any system depends to a large extent on the intentions of its users. In such a situation, with the launch of this portal, all the officials have been given clear instructions that no file should remain with them for more than 72 hours. Decide whatever decision they have to take, but this file should not be stuck for more than 3 days.
