- Champion's portal launched to strengthen MSME sector.
- If you complain to CPGrams, then it will be seen directly on the Champions Portal.
- Champion's portal equipped with artificial intelligence, data analytics and machine learning.
Mahatma Gandhi said that India's development is from his village and small industry. The government also knows very well that it is not possible to improve the country's economy without strengthening the MSME sector. It is a sector whose contribution to the country's GDP is about 30 per cent, 45 per cent in exports and employs 11-12 crore people. If people get employment, demand will remain. To strengthen this sector, Prime Minister Modi today gave a platform of technology CHAMPIONS (Creation and Harmonious Application of Modern Process for Increasing the Output and National Strength).
One Stop Solution
MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari was also present with him on this occasion. This portal, like its name, will help small scale units of MSMEs to champion them in every way. Champions Portal is considered as one stop solution of MSME.
Immediate Action on Complaint
The champions have not achieved this position just like that. Champions is the first portal in the country that has been linked to the Centralized Public Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System, the main centralized public grievance redressal and monitoring system of the Government of India. That is, if someone complains on CPGrams, then it will come directly on the champions portal. Earlier these complaints were sent to the ministries which were copied on the ministry's system. This should speed up the system of handling complaints.
Trial started by making CHAMPIONS in 9 days
The first example to make disaster an opportunity is the control room of this portal. This control room is built in an office room that was previously a warehouse. In less than two days, the warehouse was transformed and converted into a control room. For this, the employees of the ministry, IT team and laborers worked continuously for 38 hours i.e. in the room where no office worker had even visited till now, the problem of MSME units across the country will be solved. Trial has also been started by making this system in 9 days.
All kinds of Problems will be Overcome
The grievances of many problems in the sector will be redressed through the Champions Portal. Problems such as lack of capital, shortage of manpower and necessary permissions will be dealt with during the corona. Along with this, new opportunities such as making PPE kits, making masks and supplying it to national international markets will be helped. Along with this, this portal will help them by identifying those units which can come out of such asymmetrical conditions today and become champions at the international level.
Officers will Decide in 3 Days
The success of any system depends to a large extent on the intentions of its users. In such a situation, with the launch of this portal, all the officials have been given clear instructions that no file should remain with them for more than 72 hours. Decide whatever decision they have to take, but this file should not be stuck for more than 3 days.
