Special care will be taken that there is no movement of people in the Containment Zone. Containment zone will have contact tracing, door-to-door surveillance. Buffer zones may be set up outside the Containment Zone by states, where new cases are more likely to occur. District administration may impose restrictions in these buffer zones at its discretion.

People can go anywhere

The ban on moving from one state to another has been completely lifted. State will also be able to move from one district to another, but social distancing will have to be followed. There is no need to take any permission before going somewhere. However, if states feel that they can impose restrictions, which they will inform in advance.

If necessary, children and elderly stay in the house
Unlock 1 also has guidelines for elders over 65 years and children under 10 years of age not to move out unless there is a medical emergency or some other very important reason.

State governments have more power
Now state governments have been given more power. The state governments will decide how buses and metro services will start in the states. The central government has lifted the ban, but the state government can impose restrictions at its level. As such Madhya Pradesh has already announced that the lockdown will remain in force till June 15.
